Dear Positive Opportunities for Pageant Preparation (POPP),
I am writing to express our gratitude for the grant provided to Caleigh H. With the generous amount provided, she was able to get the dress of her choice as well as accessories. With the help provided from the grant, the stress level decreased tremendously as I had just had a baby and unfortunately we are working with one income. I want Caleigh to be able to participate in activities that will mold the woman she will become in the near future. Competing in pageants has been something that she enjoyed in the past, but the funds to continue were unavailable. Preparing for the pageant and doing the required work to compete has been a great learning experience for Caleigh. Her aunt participated in many pageants in the past, so once she knew Caleigh was competing she referred us to POPP. The application process and communication between Dr. Bowers and I was smooth and easy, as she was quick to answer any questions I may have had. I would definitely recommend applying to POPP to other young women who are restricted to financial resources. We look forward to future collaborations. Thank you again for your generosity.
